Khloe Kardashian wows in a New magazine cover

 

 It seems the magazines can't have enough of the kardashians.In a recent cover of the new issue of Cosmopolitan UK  Khloe kardashian  opens up about her dating life and split from husband Lamar Odom. 

While the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has been linked to rapper French Montana since filing for divorce, Khloe admits that dating has been "weird"especially since turning the big 30. 

"By the time I hit that age I thought I would have kids and still be married," she tells the mag. "But because that's not the way it went, you can't sit in a ball and cry. I had a husband, so I think there's an adjustment period, which I don't want to rush. Dating is so weird. But I'm happy – I moved into my new house, which is the first time I've owned a home on my own. It's a big step and my brother lives with me .I'm so happy about that she says.

 

 

 

 

NIGERIAN ARMY AND SAHARA REPORTERS EXCHANGE WORDS

The Nigerian Army on December 27, 2014 accused online media hub-Sahara Reporters of being propaganda media for terrorism and Boko haram in Nigeria.

This accusation stemmed from Sahara reporters publication two days ago which was captioned '' Nigerian Army presents unverified ''Lt Col" to refute petition against the military hierarchy"

The Publisher of Sahara Reporters has responded to this accusation by the Army. He said that the Nigerian Army has been reduced to a petty organization.

NOLLYWOOD STARS NOW REGULAR ASO ROCK VISITORS

This incessant visit to Aso Rock to pay homage to President Goodluck Jonathan by our Nollywood stars is becoming rather appalling. It is obvious Nollywood as a group is on splitsville as one faction is led by the current president of Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN), the newly-wed Ibinabo Fibresima and this group contains the younger ones in the industry. The other faction is led by Mr Paul Obazele and they named themselves Legends of Nollywood comprising of the older ones in the industry.

Sometime in February this year, Ibinabo led her own group to meet with the president and they made him their grand patron. After the visit, a lot of money was released. How surprising it is that another group of Nollywood (Legends of  Nollywood) led by Paul Obazele went yesterday just few months after the first group visit to Aso villa for a courtesy call to Mr President and guess what? They made him their grand patron too ! My dear Mr President this is one and same Nollywood ooo! I am sure this faction wants their own '' share of the cake''...Lol

Like I pointed out earlier, this recent development amongst our celebrities especially those in Nollywood is disturbing. I guess they too have been bought over and made to become political campaigners, sycophants and bootlickers. Abeg o!

TUNISIA AND NIGERIA- BEJI CAID AND BUHARI.

The 88-year old  BEJI CAID Essebsi has won the Presidential race in Tunisia on Monday, 22nd December, 2014 and majority of his  people seem to be happy with him.

How surprising it is for this gentle elderly man to beat his much younger opponents in the election.
This scenario, of course should allay the fears and doubts of those in Nigeria who think the 72-year old General Muhammadu Buhari, APC Presidential candidate is too old to contest the presidential election in 2015.

Seriously, I admire the courage of these elderly men. It is not easy at that age. More grease to your elbow !

GOV. ROTIMI AMECHI'S BODY LANGUAGE AFTER THE PRIMARIES

On Channels TV Morning show-SUNRISE DAILY, Gov. Chibuike Rotimi Amechi of Rivers State of Nigeria was featured in an interview where he talked about some issues in Rivers state and beyond.

It is imperative that before now Gov. Amechi's body language is characterized by being so vocal against the present dispensation under President Goodluck Jonathan and throwing of political tantrums. Gov. Amechi is noted for always blowing hot and speaking out loud without mincing words by bringing to bare the so called evils of PDP party and President GEJ anywhere he is called upon especially during T.V interviews, Public forum like rallies etc.


How shocking it is to see our ever blowing hot Gov. act so cold during the interview this morning, 23 December, 2014 on Channels television. He toned down on his usual manner of speaking and loud-mouthedness which his opponents termed as being insolent.

What could be the cause ? Was his expectation of being GMB running mate cut short ?  I guess the recent photo of him and his wife, 1stLady Judith, taking a morning walk as exercise shortly after the announcement of Prof Osinbajo as APC Vice presidential candidate and him, DG, APC Presidential campaign, was to let off some steam and tension.

We understand Sir.  You were right when you said this morning that Nigeria needs Change and a positive one at that !

OUR MONDAY HEALTH TIPS

Every Monday of every week we shall be giving you some of our health tips to help inform and educate our readers on basically the natural healthy lifestyle.

Today's topic is on  '' 7 NATURAL WAYS TO LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE ''

1) GO FOR POWER WALKS : Exercise helps the heart use oxygen more efficiently, so it doesn't work as hard to pump blood. Going for fitness walks at a brisk pace can lower pressure by almost 8mmhg over 6mmhg.

2) BREATHE DEEPLY : Try 5 minutes in the morning and at night to inhale deeply and expand your belly. Exhale and release all of your tension. Stress hormones elevate renin which is a kidney enzyme that raises blood pressure. When you try to do slow breathing and meditative practices, it will help to decrease those stress hormones.

3) PICK POTATOES : Loading up on potassium-rich fruits and veggies is an important part of any blood pressure-lowering programme. Top sources of potassium-rich produce include sweet potatoes, tomatoes, orange juice, potatoes, bananas,kidney beans, peas, etc.

4) BE SALT SMART: We should take 1,500 mg daily (half a teaspoon of salt contains about 1,200 mg of  sodium.

5) INDULGE IN DARK CHOCOLATE : Dark chocolate varieties contain flavanols that make blood vessels more elastic. In one study, 18% of patients who ate it every day saw blood pressure decrease. Have 1/2 ounce daily(make sure it contains at least 70% cocoa).

6) RELAX WITH MUSIC : According to researchers at the University of Florence in Italy, the right tunes can help even hypertensive patients lower their blood pressure. Good soothing music for at least 30 minutes a day while breathing slowly, can go a long way in lowering high blood pressure .

7) JUMP FOR SOY : According to studies, replacing some of the refined carbohydrates in your diet with foods high in soy or milk protein such as low-fat dairy can bring down systolic blood pressure (I.e the upper reading) if one is hypertensive or per hypertensive.

BREAKING NEWS : BOMB BLASTS HIT GOMBE AND BAUCHI STATES

Reports have it that there has been bomb explosion in Dukku motor park in Gombe state at or about 11a.m this Monday Morning of 22nd December, 2014.

Several people at the park who were to travel by bus ahead of the Christmas celebration were affected. The exact number of casualties is yet to be ascertained.

As if that of  Gombe state was not enough, another bomb exploded in a market in Bauchi State later this evening at or about 5:30pm. There are victims and the exact number will be announced in the course of time.

This continuous killings in the north eastern part of Nigeria is way out of hand and I keep wondering if this current government is truly committed to fighting of insurgency as it is being claimed.

May GOD Almighty deliver Nigeria and the rest of the world from the hands of terrorists.

Yes, it is noted that our "Mr Endowed" koko master and Nagropreneur of the brand "Koko Garri", Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo aka D'banj, is actually going places.

On the 16th of December, the official launch of Youth Employment in Agriculture (YEAP) organized by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development was held in Abuja and Nigeria's first United Nations Youth Ambassador for peace, the KOKO Master himself presented to His Excellency, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, a pair of customized Beats by Dre Headphones as his own personal award to Mr President. This he did, right after the Minister of Agric-Dr Ayo Adeshina gave an official award to the President for his landmark achievement in Agriculture in Nigeria.

In all of that drama, the KOKO Master  D'banj, was all over the stage, jumping from one spot to the other as he performed as the guest artiste. But I think the hype was a bit too much for some one of his so called calibre. May be the excitement of being guest performance artiste in front of Mr President, took control of him. What else can I say when most of our Naija artistes and Nollywood stars have turned to political campaigners and GEJ bootlickers over night.

At a time, it seemed as though he and his brother- Dr Adeshina rubbed shoulder so much so that one could not tell who actually was running the show !
